gluten, dairy & refined sugar free cinnamon donuts

Recently ma gal Soph (@sophiejaynemiller) and I had a lil' cooking date. Inspired by @nododonuts we came up with our own incredibly delicious, easy and (not too naughty) little baked donuts using literally just ingredients I already had at home. They turned out so so yummy, so I thought I'd share!


Like all donuts these are yummiest served still warm or on the day of baking.



M E T H O D.

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

For the batter mix all dry ingredients together. Create a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and mix in the wet ingredients.


Prepare your donut moulds by oiling them with some coconut oil (the moulds I used).


Fill the moulds with the batter, allowing room for them to rise in the oven.

Cook for around 15 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.


Once they are cooked, remove donuts from the moulds and place them on a rack to slightly cool.


Mix your glazes and then glaze the donuts. Decorate with dried rose petals, cinnamon, coconut sugar, dried beetroot powder, matcha powder, cacao nibs (or really anything you like).
